Saplings Outdoor Program
Our after-school programs allow kids to explore and experience the natural world through practical involvement. We believe the outdoors encourages imaginative play, creativity, hand-eye coordination, physical strength, and mental clarity. Our educators encourage children to develop their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Additionally, a multi-age environment promotes cooperation and teamwork, while raising children's emotional awareness. Each day at Saplings is a little bit different. We allow the children’s imagination to guide our exploration and discoveries. Some of the nature-based activities include fort and shelter making competitions, fairy house building, nature art, and even creating their own bow and arrows! We value the importance of a flexible program which provides children with plenty of free time to explore their own interests and enjoy the wonders around them.
