PAC EXECUTIVE


If you volunteer for any of these, expect to be a part of the Executive Committee for at least 1 year!  
The terms for the Executive are all 1 year in length, with the exception of the Chair and Past-Chair which are 2 year terms.

EXECUTIVE

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE - SCHOOL SUPPORT

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE - FUNDRAISING

Chair  
  • Hours: 6-12 Hrs weekly.  Includes weekly meetings with Principal and Vice-Chair.
  • Term: 2 year Term min. (Max. 2 terms).  Min 1 year as Past-Chair.
  • Role: Chairs Executive Committee and CPAC Meetings, writes weekly parent newsletter, acts as CPAC spokesperson, responsible for overall communication and CPAC management.

Vice Chair 
  • Hours: 6-8 Hrs weekly.  Includes weekly meetings with Principal and Chair.
  • Role: Assists Chair as needed and attends Executive and General CPAC meetings.

Secretary ​
  • Hours: 6 hrs per month.
  • Role: Prepares CPAC minutes and attends Executive and General CPAC meetings.

Treasurer 
  • Hours: 8 hours per month.
  • Role: Prepares and manages Budget and all income and expenditures, and attends Executive and General CPAC meetings.

Past Chair/NV District PAC Representative 
  • ​Hours: 6-12 Hrs weekly.  
  • Term: 2 year-term following term as Chair.
  • Role: Supports new Chair and attends Executive and General PAC Meeting, attends NVPAC Meetings as NVDistrict PAC Representative.
Out of School Care Coordinator
  • Hours: 10-12 hours per month
  • Role: Co-ordinates Out of School Care programming. 

Language Ambassador ​​
  • Hours: 2 Hrs per month.
  • Role: Coordinates volunteer parent ambassadors who can help translate school information for parents who speak English as a second language. 

Class Rep Coordinator
  • Hours: 4-5 hours per month.
  • Role: Coordinates and communicates with Class Reps for emergency texting, important relevant grade parent communication, and grade event co-ordination. 

Playground Coordinator 
  • Hours: 3 hrs per month.  Additional if specific project.
  • Role: Plans and coordinates playground planning.

​Emergency Preparedness Coordinator​
  • Hours: 2-4 Hrs per month.
  • Role: Plans and Coordinates Emergency Preparedness Program and First Aid Room.

​Crossing Guard/Traffic Coordinator
  • Hours: 2 Hrs per week.
  • Role: Plans and Coordinates Crossing Guard Program.

Media Coordinator 
  • Hours: 4-8 Hrs per month (may be more when launching specific fundraising events).
  • Role: Oversees all graphic media and and graphic design work for PAC.

Technology Coordinator 
  • Hours: 2-4 Hrs per month.
  • Role: Plans and manages CPAC's technology contributions to the school.

Website Coordinator
  • Hours: 1-2 hours per week
  • Role: Manages CPAC website.

On-Line Forms Coordinator
  • Hours: 2-3 hours per month as needed.
  • Manages On-Line Forms as needed.
Fun Lunch Co-Coordinator
  • Hours: 3-4 Hrs every two weeks.
  • Role: Plans and Coordinates Fun Lunch Program.

Fundraising and Social Event Coordinators 
  • Hours 5 - 10 Hrs per month (average).
  • Role: Plans and manages all school fundraisers including Halloween Dance, Card Project,  and the Adult Social.
