Through the work of one of our teachers, Carisbrooke is involved in the BC School Fruit & Vegetable Nutritional Program, an incredibly successful program that delivers healthy fruit and vegetable snacks to over 525,000 children in public schools across the province.  Deliveries take place approximately once a month,  depending on school specifics. CPAC volunteers help out by preparing the fruit and veggies once it is delivered to the school  and distributing it to the classroom. Should you have any questions please contact Jane Taylor.

The CPAC also supports outdoor activity and has an active Playground Committee.  In the 2013/214 school year a new fitness circuit was added by the CPAC as the main project for the year. The circuit can be seen on the North West side of the school field, next to the baseball net. Should you have any questions or would like to volunteer please contact info@carisbrookepac.ca.

Throughout the year you can see members of our Gardening Crew Committee working on the beds at the front of the school. The beds have a spring, summer and fall display.  Should you have any questions please contact Teresa Hay-Sabourin.
Our Crossing Guard program is run by parent volunteers who assist Grade 5/6 students in guarding the crosswalk on Carisbrooke Road in the mornings.  Should you have any questions, or would like to volunteer, please contact Jason Walker.

In the past few years the PAC and the school have worked closely together  in planning for an emergency.  Over the last 4 years the PAC has purchased 3 days work of emergency food and water as well as other crucial items in case of a significant event such as an earthquake.  If you have any questions please contact Angela Walker.
Each year the PAC puts together a School Directory with the contact information provided by the parents at the start of the year. Inclusion in this directory is by choice.  For more information please contact Sheri Gul.

To support the school during an emergency the PAC is reponsible for creating a class specific Emergency Texting Tree at that start of each year. Class reps play an important role in the text tree, initially verifying all the information and testing the tree and thereafter being the initiator for each class if the Text Tree needs to be utilised.  For more information, please contact Sheri Gul.
Every year Carisbrooke hosts two Scholastic Book Fairs. Volunteers are needed to assist during these fairs in morning, lunchtime or after school shifts. Should you be interested please watch for the volunteer sign up in the CPAC Newsletter or read here for more information.

Parents also volunteer to work in the library during school hours supporting the school librarian Mrs. Toms. Should you be interested please contact Ms. Toms.
