FUN LUNCH

​Fun Lunch is a lunch program designed to help give our kids a warm meal with healthy food options on a bi-weekly basis.  
You can participate or not, but every second Wednesday throughout the school year,
the kids who opt-in are provided with a yummy meal!

WHAT IS IT?

Fun Lunch is a warm, healthy alternative to the everyday lunches you pack for your kids.  Our talented group of volunteer parents work hard every second Wednesday throughout the year to provide your kids' favourite 'Fun Lunch' chosen for that week.

We have three ordering periods for Fun Lunch:  Fall (September); Winter (December); and Spring (March).  Ordering is entirely optional.  You do not have to participate, but most kids usually do.

Fun Lunch is also the largest fundraiser for Carisbrooke Elementary.

Fun Lunches typically are Pizza Day, Mixed Menu and Hot Dog Day.  They include such yummy kid-friendly foods as cheese pizzas, chicken teriyaki, slider beef burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, oatmeal cookies, frozen yogurts, potato chips, juices and milk.  Vegetarian options are available. 

ORDER DEADLINE

Please help us help you by submitting your order before the deadline.  Extensions are not possible after the deadline date as we need to meet our vendor deadlines.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

We have a zero-waste policy with Fun Lunches.  That means that students are asked to 'pack home their packaging'.  Please equip your child with a plastic bag so that they can safely and cleanly bring home their Fun Lunch packaging for recycling and home disposal.
