WHO ARE WE?
The Carisbrooke Parent Advisory Council (CPAC) is a registered charity, and works to supplement our children’s education and experience at Carisbrooke.
In particular, the CPAC represent parents to the school, and helps to create a school community and environment that promotes healthy, physical, emotional and academic learning and growth. We do this by organizing school community events and additional special activities for our children, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring parents are kept up to date with various school and CPAC activities. And we raise funds along the way to sustain these efforts. We are also the elected Voice of the Parents for any concerns you may have. |
The CPAC activities and events are coordinated by the elected Executive Committee. A number of executive members act as coordinators for various committees.
The Executive Committee relies on other CPAC members – you, parents – who are willing to volunteer their talents, time and effort and make Carisbrooke a great place to grow and learn. We are also part of a larger body of Parent Advisory Councils in the North Vancouver School District (SD44), as well as a member of the BCCPAC. |
