CPAC EXECUTIVE

​The CPAC Executive Committee represents the Carisbrooke community of parents and guardians, ​coordinates the various CPAC activities and events, 
​and liaises with the school staff and teachers ​as well as the NVPAC and BCCPAC for any of your concerns. 
​As part of the Carisbrooke PAC Executive, members are asked to attend both Executive and General CPAC Meetings during the school year.  
​Executive Meetings are generally held on the once a month,
and General Meetings are held four times a year.

EXECUTIVE POSITIONS

The CPAC Executive Members consists of :
  • Chair,
  • Vice-Chair,
  • Secretary,
  • Treasurer, 
  • NVPAC (DPAC) Rep/Past-Chair,
  • and one Member-At-Large.

The CPAC Executive Committee also has Members-at-Large who carry specific portfolios: 
  • ​After-School Coordinator, 
  • Communication / Social Media
  • Crossing Guard & Safety Coordinator,
  • Social Events Coordinator, 
  • Emergency Preparedness,
  • Class Rep Coordination, 
  • Fundraising,
  • Hot Lunch Coordinator,
  • Technology.

BEING ON CPAC

 Any CPAC member - that means you - can apply to become an Executive Committee member.  

​If you want to find out more about the roles and responsibilities involved in this rewarding experience,
 come to one of the CPAC meetings.

​We also have a set of By-Laws, which explain the roles and responsibilities of CPAC. 
All of the Parent Advisory Council Executive shall:
  • Provide leadership.
  • Take initiative.
  • Carry on the Council’s day-to-day business.
  • Consult with, take direction from, and represent all parents of the school.
  • Work as a team to ensure PAC purposes are achieved.
  • Attend most of the executive, general and special PAC meetings.
  • Be familiar with the Constitution and Bylaws, to carry out their duties as described, and to follow the Code of Conduct.

MEETINGS

​The CPAC Executive meets on a monthly basis at least 6 times a year.
​

Members of the CPAC Executive Committee are elected each year at the May Annual General Meeting.
