HOT LUNCH

​Hot Lunch is a lunch program designed to help give our kids a warm meal with healthy food options at least once a week.  
You can participate or not, but every Wednesday and alternate Mondays/Fridays throughout the school year,
the kids who opt-in are provided with a yummy meal!

WHAT IS IT?

Hot Lunch is a warm, healthy alternative to the everyday lunches you pack for your kids.  Our talented group of volunteer parents work hard every Wednesday and alternate Mondays/Fridays throughout the year to provide your kids' favourite 'Hot Lunch' chosen for that week.

We have three ordering periods for Hot Lunch: Fall (September); Winter (December); and Spring (March). Ordering is entirely optional. You do not have to participate, but most kids usually do.

Hot Lunch is also the largest fundraiser for Carisbrooke Elementary.

ORDER DEADLINE

The order deadline is 8 days prior to the lunch date - you can add, edit or cancel and order up until midnight on the order deadline date.

​Note: If your child is absent from school on a hot lunch day and you have ordered some food, please call the school office to let them know that you would like to collect your child's order at noon. Otherwise the food will be given to the teachers and/or staff and/or to a student without lunch.
