THANK YOU CARISBROOKE! On behalf of the Spring Fair Committee we would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s spring fair a roaring success (despite Mother Nature’s best efforts to wash us away). To the Carisbrooke staff, thank you for your patience as we borrowed supplies, put up posters, made noise, took over spaces. To our parents, thank you for braving the elements and coming to the fair with a smile and enthusiasm. It was so wonderful to see parents having as much fun as the kids! To our students, thank you for being such great sports and being so respectful to one another. Your smiles and laughter were contagious. To our tireless volunteers who spent hours setting up, organizing so many stations, shopping for supplies, labeling jars, gathering donations and sponsors, working at stations, staying to help clean it all up and on and on. It is impossible to run an event such as this without the dedication of our volunteers both before and during the event. And, we would like to thank our sponsors who donated incredible prizes, gift cards and services. Without these incredible community retailers we would not be able to provide half the fun!! As our principal fundraising event of the year, our aim was to raise $8000.00 for the Technology Fund. We are happy to report that we met our goal, and raised OVER $8000.00 at the Spring Fair.
