FUNDRAISING 2016/2017
Fundraisers for this year include:
1. Fun Lunch
Fun Lunch is Carisbrooke PAC's biggest fundraiser! Parents can order and pay online for Fun Lunch during three ordering periods during the year so that their child can have lunch options delivered to them on Fun Lunch days. Fun Lunch is generally every second Wednesday. The first ordering period is during the first two weeks of September for the Sept.-Dec. Fun Lunch program. The second ordering period will be for one week in December for the Jan.-March Fun Lunch program. The final ordering period will be for one week in March for the Apr.-Jun. Fun Lunch program. 2. Family Portraits
We also plan to have a couple Family Portraits nights in October. This fundraiser involves families signing up and paying $25 or so for a sitting with a professional photographer in our gym. A couple weeks or so after the sitting you will receive the photo proofs to choose from and have the option to buy copies and/or get a digital CD of the photos from the photographer. 3. Card Project
Back by popular demand! This is a school-wide fundraiser. Teachers will submit art created by each student. Parents will then receive an order form with the option to buy cards/notebooks with their child's art on the front. Children love seeing their art on professional cards/notebooks. 4. Christmas Hampers
New this year! We are planning to work with a company to create Christmas Hampers that will be available to purchase. These hampers would make great Christmas gifts. Subscribe to our CPAC newsletter to get details and reminders of this event as they become available.
5. Shop4Carisbrooke
Shop4Carisbrooke is an ongoing Fundraiser in which you can purchase items through our website. Items available include clothing and gear with our Carisbrooke name and logo on them, magazines, Lavish and Lime products, Stuck on You labels and Survival Kits.
6. Donations
Please consider donating directly to the Carisbrooke PAC. This is completely optional but greatly appreciated. Any donation in the amount of $25.00 or more will receive a tax receipt. You can donate online or by cheque. Please click HERE to donate online.
If you prefer to donate by cheque, please complete the attached form and attach with your donation cheque made payable to Carisbrooke PAC. All donations are to be deposited into the CPAC box in the school foyer. Please clearly mark your envelope “CPAC Donation” with your child’s name/division. All monies raised/donated for the CPAC will directly support CPAC initiatives.
This year we will continue to put our money towards a program entitled Creating Memories of Carisbrooke. This program is to support a wide variety of activities to enhance our children’s educational experience but are unique enough to be remembered long after the children have left elementary school. Categories for funding have been identified and are as follows:
These fundraising events will not eliminate traditional school spirit CPAC events such as the Halloween Dance, Ice Cream Social and other community building events. Our Grade 7 Grad Committee will continue to offer optional fundraisers in support of their graduation celebration.

- Theatre and Music: Theatre/music presentations, workshops, field trips competitions
- Literacy: Presentations, workshops, field trips competitions, books

- Playground/Activity, equipment, materials, specific activity/program
