MEMORIES OF CARISBROOKE
SCHOOL SONG

Carisbrooke School Song - The Thunderbirds
(written by the students of Carisbrooke Elementary School with assistance from Norman Foote - September 2016)
We are the Thunderbirds
Strong and powerful
We stand up for equality
And freedom for us all!

We’re loyal and reliable
We mean no harm
Our hearts are filled with joy
And we have a special charm.

We are the Thunderbirds
Strong and powerful
We stand up for equality
And freedom for us all!

We always help each other
Because we really care
Even though we are different
We’ll always do what’s fair.

(Bridge)
We spread our wings and fly high in the sky
We listen to each other and we try, try, try
So much potential no one can deny
Set our course and we fly, fly, fly!
We try, try, try!

We are the Thunderbirds
Strong and powerful
We stand up for equality
And freedom for us all!

ANNUAL ACTIVITIES

The igirl/iguy and SafeTeen Programs are funded by CPAC to teach our children about personal safety for themselves and others.

Comments from 2016-2017 from our Students & Teachers
“We learned that a cyber bully was a bad thing.
We learned that there are lot of mean people on the internet.
We learned to not post pictures of anywhere near our house.
We learned how to tell somebody to stop being mean.
We learned that boys can do girl things.
We learned to not tease anyone.
Thank you PAC for allowing us to do this workshop.”

Excerpts from a thank-you note from students in the 2017 iGuy Workshop.
